Two years ago, after a long struggle to obtain a copy, we investigated the current position on its distribution. After finding out that it was not being distributed we started selling copies.
However in Sept 2004, we were informed by Power Pictures that they owned the distribution rights and we should stop selling. We gladly agreed, asking when it would be distributed by them. We even offered to distribute some on there behalf for free. They declined this offer and informed us that negotiations were nearing a conclusion regarding the distribution. We were informed that this would be around 4-6 weeks. As a result we withdrew the copies we were distributing at their request. However in January 2005 we were informed by a supporter in Canada that Power Pictures (the distributors) informed him that the film will not be distributed "in the foreseeable future." 6) A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Moonby Bart Sibrel - film running time - 47 minutes
Flyby News has provided screenings and discussions of a controversial film alleging a moon-landing hoax. The moon is 240,000 miles away from Earth. The space shuttle has never gone more than 400 miles from our atmosphere. Except for Apollo astronauts;, no humans even claim to have gone beyond low-earth orbit. When the space shuttle astronauts did get to an altitude of 400 miles, the radiation of the Van Allen belts forced them to a lower altitude. CNN reported: "The radiation belts surrounding Earth may be more dangerous for astronauts than previously believed (like when they supposedly went through them thirty years ago to reach the Moon.) The phenomenon known as the 'Van Allen Belts' can spawn (newly discovered) 'Killer Electrons' that can dramatically affect the astronauts' health."
In a recent (2008) article in the Guardian (UK), a science correspondent wrote: "The question of how to fend off the solar wind has been given some urgency by an international plan - the Global Exploration Strategy, signed by 14 space agencies including those of Britain, China, France and the US - to return to the moon and send astronauts further into space. George Bush has committed the US to a return trip to the moon by 2020.." So why after the supposed multiple successful lunar landing and take-offs has humans remained in low orbit, since the 1972 and Apollo missions ended; is it coincidence that these missions ended when Russia and other countries had the technology in place to confirm a human moon landing and take-off. According to
Bart Jordan, at that time NASA did not have the technology to lift off the moon even if they landed on it, and survived the intense Van Allen Earth-Sun magnetic radiation belt.
What is unique about Bart Sibrel's film, besides its artistic blending of images demonstrating the hubris of humankind throughout the ages, and the current events of the arms race, Vietnam War, race riots, but he also presented some mislabeled, unedited, behind-the-scenes footage from NASA showing the crew of Apollo 11 'staging a shot of being half-way to the moon.' The quote used in his film from George Orwell’s book, 1984, is very apropos: "Those who control the future control the past." It may be time for another look back to what many of us believed once was true. Did man really land on the moon?

(CBS) This is the story of a drug that was on the market for 14 years and may have contributed to the deaths of thousands of patients. Trasylol, made by Bayer, is given in the operating room to control bleeding. It was a big money maker.
As correspondent Scott Pelley reports, Bayer marketed Trasylol aggressively until it was used in about one third of all cardiac bypass operations in America.
But then, in 2006, a study showed widespread death associated with Trasylol, and as it turns out there was concern long before that.
How much did Bayer know? And why did it take Bayer and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration nearly two years to take the drug off the market after major studies revealed the danger? Two years - during which it's estimated Trasylol was contributing to the loss of one thousand lives a month.

By Bill MoyersFour years ago on May 1, President Bush landed on the aircraft carrier USS Lincoln wearing a flight suit and delivered a speech in front of a giant "Mission Accomplished" banner. He was hailed by media stars as a "breathtaking" example of presidential leadership in toppling Saddam Hussein. Despite profound questions over the failure to locate weapons of mass destruction and the increasing violence in Baghdad, many in the press confirmed the White House's claim that the war was won. MSNBC's Chris Matthews declared, "We're all neo-cons now;" NPR's Bob Edwards said, "The war in Iraq is essentially over;" and Fortune magazine's Jeff Birnbaum said, "It is amazing how thorough the victory in Iraq really was in the broadest context."
How did the mainstream press get it so wrong? How did the evidence disputing the existence of weapons of mass destruction and the link between Saddam Hussein to 9-11 continue to go largely unreported? "What the conservative media did was easy to fathom; they had been cheerleaders for the White House from the beginning and were simply continuing to rally the public behind the President — no questions asked. How mainstream journalists suspended skepticism and scrutiny remains an issue of significance that the media has not satisfactorily explored," says Moyers. "How the administration marketed the war to the American people has been well covered, but critical questions remain: How and why did the press buy it, and what does it say about the role of journalists in helping the public sort out fact from propaganda?"
On Wednesday, April 25 at 9 p.m. on PBS, a new PBS series BILL MOYERS JOURNAL premieres at a special time with "Buying the War," a 90-minute documentary that explores the role of the press in the lead-up to the invasion of Iraq.
