New World Order * Improbable Collapse

November 15, 2006
New World Order
by Stone Bryson

There is a group of people… across this planet wide,
with greedy little fingers - and power on their mind,
they do not care ‘bout sovereignty - the one-world is their goal,
Liberty is their enemy… and their deity is Control.

They march across the history books - possess an ageless plan,
leading us toward dependency - to a woman and a man,
their map to domination is as old as time itself,
mixing ancient mysteries with technology off the shelf,

Keeping us in darkness - their faces unrevealed,
the shadows are their foxholes and secrecy is their shield,
they manipulate behind the scenes - relentless without fear,
a crescendo of disparity that builds from year to year.

They provide us our distractions - engulf us day to day,
preparing to enslave us, they slowly wear away
a catalogue of liberties - and while freedoms wane and cease,
they tell us that they’re doing it for security and for peace,

They prey upon our apathy - in a plot you can’t untwist,
policing how you think and feel… they tighten an iron fist,
they terrorize the spirit of hope with fear and guilt and shame
‘til there’s nothing left of who you were but a ghost, a shell, a name.

They rule from modern castles - elitist to the core,
they think of you as mindless stock to serve them evermore,
they’ll take away your firearms so you cannot self-defend,
and tag you with an ID chip… to keep you in your pen.

There is a group of people… across this planet wide,
who are waiting for their moment - and time is on their side,
the New World Order is the dream - and dominion is the gain,
but they cannot reach this final goal… ‘til Liberty has been slain.

Editor's Notes:

This issue begins with an article by Ray McGovern, “The Cheney-Gates Cabal” as a dose of reality with a Congress and players known for Iran-Contra. While progressives continue to press for impeachment, scientists and patriotic citizens are looking at Ground Zero where hard evidence show explosives were used to bring down WTC buildings. Item 2 includes information on the film, "Improbable Collapse: The Demolition of our Republic." Following that is information on grassroots activism that includes getting such films to libraries, community access TV stations, and then, notifying your neighbors by sending a letter to your local newspaper. Item 3 covers concern regarding Global Warming.

The Cheney-Gates Cabal
Ray McGovern
November 09, 2006

Ray McGovern, a CIA analyst from 1963 to 1990, is on the Steering Group of Veteran Intelligence Professionals for Sanity. Full disclosure: he is indebted to Defense Secretary Rumsfeld for TV notoriety on May 4, when McGovern’s impromptu questioning after a Rumsfeld speech in Atlanta elicited denials later shown to be false after fact-checks by the TV networks. McGovern’s acquaintance with Robert Gates, whom the president has picked to succeed Rumsfeld, goes back 36 years to when Gates was a journeyman analyst in the CIA’s Soviet Foreign Policy branch led by McGovern.

As the Iraq war goes from bad to worse, President George W. Bush jettisoned “stay the course” in favor of “necessary adjustments.” Yesterday he showed how quickly he can adjust to the mid-term election results, when he jettisoned Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, barely a week after telling reporters Rumsfeld was doing a “fantastic job” and that he wanted him to stay on for the next two years.

It had been clear for weeks that the election would be a referendum on the war in Iraq and that Republican losses would be substantial. And Rumsfeld and Bush had every intention of avoiding the embarrassment likely to come of the grilling of Rumsfeld by congressional committees chaired by Democrats. Besides, who better to try to blame for the “long, hard slog” in Iraq than the fellow who coined the expression, and then implemented it with dubious distinction?

I have the sense that Rumsfeld offered himself as scapegoat for Iraq, not only to avoid another acrimonious tangle with Sen. Hillary Clinton , but also to help Bush project an image of flexibility and decisiveness to cope with the imminent sea change in Congress.

President George W. Bush conferred yesterday with members of the James Baker-led Iraq Study Group came against a background of chaos in Baghdad, a quisling government demonstrably incapable of stemming the violence, and an Iraqi resistance emboldened by the vote of no confidence given to the president’s Iraq policy. As expected, yesterday’s meeting was primarily photo-op.

The important question is: Can the Iran Study Group be expected to come up with constructive suggestions for alternative policy on Iraq. The answer is no.

Few elections in history have provided so clear a mandate. As the New York Times put it, Democrats were “largely elected on the promise to act as a strong check on [Bush’s] administration.” [1] But the first response of the new Congressional leadership has been to proclaim a new era of civility and seek accommodation with the very people who need to be held accountable for war crimes and subversion of the Constitution.

"Improbable Collapse: The Demolition of our Republic"
A new film by Michael Berger

“Improbable Collapse” examines the increasingly widespread notion that the World Trade Center buildings were brought down using explosives. The film builds momentum with an exclusive interview with Steven Jones, former professor of physics at Brigham Young University. His influential research paper is entitled "Why Indeed did the WTC Towers Collapse?"

Most people do not know that a third building, WTC-7 collapsed at 5:20 that same evening. It collapsed at nearly free-fall speeds, imploding in the exact manner of a professionally engineered demolition. Historically fire has never brought down a steel structured building. Film viewers are presented with visual evidence that has been censored by major media outlets. Now you can not only watch WTC-7 collapse, but also learn from Steve Jones hard evidence that explosives were used to cut the steel frames of demolished WTC buildings.

Ray McGovern, who was responsible for Presidents Daily Brief (PDB) for Ronald Reagan and George H. Bush, a 27-year CIA veteran, and Former U.S. Army Intelligence Officer, said: "The 9/11 Report is a joke. The question is: What’s being covered up? Is it gross malfeasance, gross negligence? "

Activists have begun donating resources such as DVD films to libraries and community access television stations. Recommended for 9/11 investigation newcomers, look for ”9/11 Press for Truth.” Family members who had lost loved ones on that tragic day take the lead in investigations, while adapting Paul Thompson’s definitive “Complete 9/11 Timeline.” The result brings to view rare overlooked news clips, buried stories, and government press conferences, revealing a pattern of official lies, deception and spin.

On December 16, 2006 activists are planning another sort of Boston Tea Party with a mock destruction of the “9/11 Commission Report.” It is from such actions that give hope that from the efforts of modern day patriots, independent media, scientists, individuals, we may yet reclaim living principles of the US Constitution for life, liberty, and justice. Or -- as Justice William O. Douglas once said: "As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all must be most aware of change in the air - however slight - lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness."

Dear Editor:

Recently I donated a DVD film called “9/11: Press for Truth” to our library. This film features family members of victims of that tragic day, and looks into the workings of the 'official' 9/11 Commission Report, while examining Paul Thompson’s definitive “Complete 9/11 Timeline.” The film brings to view rare overlooked news clips, buried stories, and government press conferences, revealing a pattern of official lies, deception and spin.

The next film I plan to donate is a new film by Michael Berger called: "Improbable Collapse: The Demolition of our Republic." This film reviews evidence for WTC controlled-demolitions from a scientific perspective. Most people do not know that a third building, WTC-7 collapsed at 5:20 that same evening. It collapsed at nearly free-fall speeds, imploding in the exact manner of a professionally engineered demolition.

Historically fire has never brought down a steel structured building. Film viewers are presented with visual evidence, which has been censored by major media outlets. Not only can you watch WTC-7 collapse, but the film also includes an interview with Steven Jones PhD (physicist), showing hard evidence that explosives were used.

Climate Change Is as Serious as WMD: Annan

Climate Change Is as Serious as WMD: Annan
by Bob Egelko

UN chief Kofi Annan demanded that world leaders give climate change the same priority as they did to wars and to curbing the spread of weapons of mass destruction.

Annan made the appeal as he launched a three-day gathering of environment chiefs, tasked with stepping up action against global warming.

In his valedictory speech to the annual meeting, the UN secretary-general painted a sombre tableau about the effects of climate change, especially on impoverished countries that were least to blame for it.

And he lacerated the fast-shrinking minority of politicians or scientists who still denied there was any threat as "out of step, out of arguments and out of time."

Climate change imperils agriculture through drought and coastal cities through rising sea levels, poses a health threat by spreading mosquito-born disease and could lead to billion-dollar weather calamities, said Annan.

"Climate change is also a threat to peace and security," he warned. "Changing patterns of rainfall, for example, can heighten competition for resources, setting in motion potentially destabilising tensions and migrations, especially in fragile states or volatile regions.

"There is evidence that some of this already occurring; more could well be in the offing."

Annan declared: "The message is clear. Global climate change must take its place alongside those threats -- conflict, poverty, the proliferation of deadly weapons -- that have traditionally monopolised first-order political attention."

Ministers or their stand-ins at the 189-nation meeting of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) are under pressure to spell out by Friday their commitments for deepening cuts in greenhouse-gas emissions.

The spotlight is being placed on Brazil, China and India -- big-population developing countries whose carbon pollution has surged in line with their economic growth.

The European Union (EU) hopes these countries will signal they will join rich nations in making binding curbs in their emissions when negotiations start next year to reshape the UNFCCC's Kyoto Protocol after it expires in 2012.

The United States, meanwhile, which walked away from Kyoto in 2001, is being scrutinised for any gesture towards the pact in the light of last week's US elections, in which the Democrats wrested control of Congress away from President George W. Bush's Republicans.

The United States by itself accounts for a quarter of the world's greenhouse gas output, although its position as No. 1 polluter could soon be overtaken by China, a major burner of coal.

Greenhouse gases trap the Sun's heat instead of letting it radiate out into space.

As a result, Earth's atmospheric temperature is rising, and many scientists are convinced this is already starting to affect the climate system.

The evidence for this comes through thinner snow cover in the European alps, shrinkage of the Greenland icesheet and Arctic ice cover, and a retreat in Siberian permafrost.

Federal law required scientific assessment be issued in 2004
by Bob Egelko

Environmental advocates sued the Bush administration Tuesday for ignoring a 2004 congressional deadline to report to lawmakers and the public on the latest research on global warming.

A 1990 federal law requires the government to produce a scientific report every four years on climate change and its effects on the environment, including land, water, air, plant and animal life and human health.
