Last Man Out of the North World Trade Center Tower Tells his Story

William Rodriguez will share his harrowing tale of transformation from janitor to international hero on Thursday, 7 pm November 1st, at the Grand Lake Theater, 3200 Grand Avenue in Oakland, California, the first stop, on a North West Tour that will take him from Oakland to Sonoma, Sacramento, Eureka, Portland, and Seattle. Other guest speakers include Peter Dale Scott and Cindy Sheehan, the main talk will be followed by a reception for Rodriguez and local heroes.
Daily, William Rodriguez met with co-workers for breakfast at the Windows on the World Restaurant on the 106th floor of World Trade Center Tower #1. Nearly two hundred people, most of William's friends, were in the restaurant on the morning of September 11. None of them survived. For nearly twenty years, the Puerto Rican-born, New Jersey resident was a custodian in-charge of the three stairwells A, B and C in the North Tower. In possession of the master key that opened all of the stairwell doors at each floor in the 110 story building, William Rodriguez personally saved the lives of 15 people that day and aided NYC firefighters in saving hundreds of others.
Having told his chilling account to thousands of people across the globe, he comes to share his memories of heroic and selfless first responders, his personal witness to explosions in the building prior to its destruction.
Honored at the White House on five occasions, recognized as a “National Hero” by the Senate of Puerto Rico, William Rodriguez has helped draft and pass legislation on behalf of victim’s family members, and survivors. He lobbied for the creation of the 9/11 Commission. His testimony before the Commission was in private and excluded from its final report.
In addition to helping raise millions of dollars for the victims of 9/11 and their families, Rodriguez is also raising questions about gaps in the official story. He has traveled around the world to help victims from other disasters, to bring attention to the health concerns of thousands of first responders now sick with "Ground Zero Syndrome," and to urge for a genuine international inquiry into 9/11.

V for Vendetta celebrates resistance against a fascist regime that has seized power through a state-sponsored terror attack falsely blamed on Muslims. Sound familiar? The film's hero, V, wears a Guy Fawkes mask, recalling the first monumental act of state-sponsored false-flag terror in modern history--the "Gunpowder plot" of 1605, the origin of Guy Fawkes Day. For centuries the British people have been told that "Catholic extremists" led by Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Parliament on November 4th, 1605. Every Fifth of November, British Catholics cower in their homes while Protestants get drunk, set off fireworks, and burn Guy Fawkes in effigy to commemorate the alleged "extremist Catholic terrorist plot" of 1605.
Historian Adam Nicholson, in his book God's Secretaries, presents compelling evidence that Guy Fawkes was a patsy, and that the "extremist Catholic plot to blow up Parliament" was a set-up by minister Robert Cecil and his War Party. The massively publicized Gunpowder Plot--the 9/11 of the 17th century--was designed to incite hatred of Catholics and trigger a century of war with Catholic Spain and Portugal. It worked, and the anti-Catholic wars that followed built the British Empire.
